Guideline for Oral Presenters

You are required to be in the venue (UP Cine Adarna) by 8am for registration. Failure to register in the morning may result in our removing you from the programme.

 

On April 24: At 9am keynote speakers (see website for details) address the theme of the conference. From 12:30pm to 5:00pm, you will get a chance to present your paper. Please note the Session you are assigned. The schedule is attached to this note. Each presenter will be allowed only 10-12 minutes to present. At the end of the session, all presenters take part in an open forum for the benefit of the audience.  Please take note of the following:

 

To be submitted on or before March 30.

1. Presenters for all categories are required to submit a 30-word short-bio about each author. Please indicate your school, year and course.   

2. Shortened abstract, maximum of 150 words 

3. Digital photo of authors (half body shot), file name should be author’s name, jpeg format.

4. When you email this to us, please change subject line to: PRESENTER DATA

 

To be submitted on or before April 15.

1. Presenters can choose one of two options for submission:

1. A 7-page executive summary of their IR that includes:

• Background of the report

• Investigative hypothesis

• Objectives  

• Framework and Methodology

• Findings 

1. For IR or feature: News story format (full paper)

 

1. For video presentations:

Videos should be uploaded on YouTube and link sent to the Secretariat.
